If you’re a big fan of cherries, you’ll love pairing them with chocolate, especially in this brownie recipe. As bright and luscious as they are, fresh cherries, because of their moisture, can make brownies soggy. So dried cherries are a more fitting choice. You’ll just need to add chop and then add these in a small saucepan with water. Boil them until there almost isn’t any water left. Next add brandy, warm it for 30 or so seconds, and turn off the heat. Now you can ignite the brandy and wait for the flames to die down. The cherries will later be folded in just before the batter is baked for 50 to 60 minutes. Then finish it off with some whipped cream topped with a fresh cherry.
