The traditional rocky road is a combination of chocolate, marshmallows and almonds. But for this recipe, the almonds are replaced with pecans. The other ingredients needed are powdered sugar, unsweetened cocoa powder, salt, egg whites, vanilla extract, semisweet chocolate chips, toasted pecans and mini marshmallows.
So first, you’ll need to preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare the baking pan by lining it with parchment paper. Mix powdered sugar and cocoa powder in a bowl. Add salt, egg whites and vanilla. Mix well. Form cookies and lay them out. Top each cookie with marshmallows. Put inside the freezer for a few minutes. Bake for 12 to 13 minutes. Let cookies cool before serving.
