Crispy Bean Fries with Parmesan and Seasonings

What’s next on your how-to-get-my-kid-to-eat-veggies list? How about some green beans? Green bean fries to be exact. Because they taste a lot like French fries, you can count on these to turn the pickiest of eaters into veggie fans. For this crispy baked version with parmesan, your oven needs to be preheated to 425 degrees and your baking sheet lined with foil and coated with non-stick cooking spray. Thaw frozen green beans in the microwave (or let them sit for a few hours in room temperature), then wash and chop off the ends (jump to this step if you’re using fresh beans). Spread the beans evenly on your baking pan, add parmesan cheese and seasonings, then pop in the oven for between 10 and 15 minutes. Broil for a minute or so to get them extra crispy.
