Mini Burgers Using Ground Sirloin

Mini Burgers Using Ground Sirloin

Join the mini food trend by serving sliders. They’re guaranteed to be a crowd-pleaser for cocktail hour, your wedding reception or whatever party it is you’re planning next. You can even set up a slider bar and let your guests put together burgers of their own. For this recipe, you’ll need 2 pounds of ground sirloin and 20 round dill pickle slices to form patties for 20 sliders. Use soft dinner rolls, with shallot butter (a mixture of melted butter, shallots, water and salt and pepper) spread on the bottom half.  Serve with cheese, lettuce leaves, tomatoes and your choice of condiment. Chipotle mayo, made by combining mayonnaise, chipotle peppers and adobo sauce, would work particularly well.
