One of the things that makes sushi delicious is the nori wrapper. Made of seaweed, nori gives a unique flavor (a bit salty) to the sticky Japanese rice and whatever filling is in there. And if you do enjoy the taste of sushi, for sure, you’re going to love this recipe as well. It’s nori seaweed coated shrimp.

In Japanese cuisine, shrimp is usually coated in a batter made with flour, eggs, and ice water. This is known as tempura. But in this recipe, you’ll coat it with nori. Nori, a thin sheet of paper-like toasted seaweed can also be used for making rice balls, and as topping for soups, noodles, salads and other dishes.
