Old School Whole Wheat Buttermilk Pancakes

There’s nothing like a stack of old school whole wheat buttermilk pancakes to start your day right.

This recipe will give you 12 to 18 pancakes. You’ll need the following ingredients: whole wheat flour, baking soda, brown sugar, salt, eggs, buttermilk and vegetable oil. If you’d like to have this breakfast every day for the rest of the week, what you can do is to create a “healthy instant pancake mix” by making a bigger batch of the mixture of dry ingredients. Seal in an airtight container and put in the refrigerator. If you’d like your pancakes to be more tender, you can use whole wheat pastry flour.
