Saucy Sesame Asian Meatballs in 20 Minutes

When you’re cooking for the family, there comes a point when you run out of ideas on what to serve, or you lose interest because you feel like you’ve been doing the same routine for the last couple of years. There’s one way to resolve these two problems, and it’s with cooking new and exciting dishes that would only take a few minutes of your time.

One example would be this saucy sesame Asian meatballs, which take only 10 minutes to prepare,  and 15 minutes to cook. That means that in 20 minutes, you and your family can enjoy eating 12 to 18 delicious meatballs.

If you have a big family (or a big appetite), you can simply double the portions, and whip up 24 to 36 meatballs. Prep time would also double to 20 minutes but cooking time (if you have a bigger pan) will still take 15 minutes.

List of ingredients include ground pork (could also be ground beef, if you like), sesame oil, breadcrumbs or Panko, ground ginger, eggs, garlic, green onions, toasted sesame seeds, scallions, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, and soy sauce. The toasted sesame seeds and scallions are optional but you should add this if you like the taste of authentic Asian flavor.

This is also perfect to serve if you’re having a party, and don’t have the luxury of time to cook elaborate meals. Whether it’s a cocktail party with friends, or a sit-down family dinner, you’ll surely be commended for your excellent cooking with this spectacular meatball dish.
