The first time the author tried the Thai Roasted Chili Paste, she discovered that it’s worlds away from those that she has tried before. This one is sweet, spicy and tangy all at the same time. She knew right away that it can transform even the dullest of dishes into something spectacular.

This stir-fry shrimp is one of her most favorite dishes that makes use of this chili paste that’s made of dried chilis, tamarind juice, shallots, fish sauce, garlic, sugar, dried shrimp and salt. Not only is this quick to put together, you’ll also adore it for its rich and deep flavors that seep so well into the shrimp.
