Shrimp Chowder with Peppered Bacon

Everything that you could want in a soup is here in this shrimp chowder with peppered bacon. It’s sweet, creamy, smoky and a bit spicy. And of course, it’s very delicious. Serve this with ciabatta bread brushed with honey butter sauce, and for sure, you’ll have a delightful dinner.

This recipe requires olive oil, sweet corn cobs, gold potatoes, bacon (recommended is deli thick cut smoked and peppered bacon), large shrimp (peeled and deveined), butter, sweet onion, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic, light ale beer, chicken stock or vegetable stock, salt, ground pepper, and parsley.
